The Solé family's first mill was founded by the family's maternal grandfather Marià Llevat, who was part of a long line of growers and producers of their own olive oil.
In 1944, the paternal grandfather, Anselm Solé, realized that production of oil could be increased. So he established a mill where all the village families could have their olives pressed.

This employs the spinner method (continuous system) for production of the oil. Leaving behind the traditional method of a stone mill that crushed the olives, which were then, pressed using a "pad" made of esparto (cofí). The oil was extracted as an end result.
Through many years of producing high quality olive oil the Solé family reputation has grown considerably leading to the family name, being associated with a high quality product through the market.
